The Bolton News recently reported that our local Sainsbury’s is to open a dental practice within their store.

Whilst we’re now used to optician based in supermarkets this is a new one to us, though there have been successful outlets already opened in and around Manchester at Heaton Park and Sale.

It will be interesting to see if Bolton Council approve this private dental practice and what range of dental services a supermarket would offer.

The new centre was opened by Bolton local sporting personality (and prime candidate for a dental implant or two) Amir Kahn.
