The whole team at Cahill Dental Care Centre are so sad to announce that our nurse Bec is leaving. Bec has been with us since October 2015 and slotted into the team really well. From her first day when she turned up in bright green scrubs, we have loved her big smile and cheery attitude. She’s a very positive young lady and she sees the good in everyone.
Here’s a little bit about Bec from our website.
“I started working here in October 2015. I have recently gained my qualification in Dental Nursing after completing an apprenticeship. In the future I would love to further my knowledge and skills and do some post qualifications to help me progress such as sedation or radiography.
I have one child, a daughter called Adelae Rae who has just started school in September which she is really enjoying. We recently bought her a kitten which she has named April. At the weekends and on my day off I enjoy going on days out with my family – to the pictures, zoo, long walks and nature trails, and I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.”
Bec had many responsibilities in the practice including the role of the fire marshall so we could ensure all of our patients and team members would be well looked after in the situation of a fire. This role will now be taken over by Toni our assistant manager.
Unfortunately, although the late nights and early starts work well for our patients, for poor Bec it’s not fitting in with being a mum of a young child, so it is with great sadness she feels it’s time to move on.
We will be holding Becs leaving do on Friday 3rd February at the Victoria Inn in Bolton. We will be saying a proper goodbye with some lovely food and I’m sure the drinks will be flowing.
Becs last day with us is Tuesday 31st January so be sure to wish her well if you are visiting us for an appointment.
So its with great sadness that we say bye bye to our favourite Bec. We wish you well my dear and sincerely hope that you keep in touch. We love you lots.
